I hate "Time is money." Because I think time is more invaluable than money.
This essay said "We should instead invest time in things that will make a difference in our families and communities."
That's right. But it's not right, too.
We don't know what is the important thing for another person.
We don't know what is the want for another person.
I only know what I want, what is the important thing for me.
So I think it can't say that everybody needs time to be with family and community.
Somebody needs it, but somebody wants another thing than it. For example, business, hobby, study.
I agree most of this essay without this point.
Good! A resolution can also be made by oneself, as is the case with a New Year's resolution.
