Cartoon hero' kids' donors increase
I read "Cartoon hero' kids' donors increase" by weekly ST World News online.
a. The words I did not know.
1)donor
Sentence:
Cartoon hero' kids' donors increase
Definition:
a person, group etc that gives something, especially money, to help an organization or country:
Synonyms:
giver, contributor, benefactor,
c. Comments about the news.
When I think about contribution, I always feel that sending money is the best way. It doesn't need transport charges and they can buy things which the most they need. If there are not things, we should send things. But it generally low cost to buy things there. Low cost means they can take more things. We should send money than send old clothes and notes. Because poor people need things(money) now. They don't have time to care our mind.
However, children who are lonely may need hero. It is difficult issue.

Fewer Japanese studying abroad
I read "Fewer Japanese studying abroad" by weekly ST World News online.
a. The words I did not know.
1)current
Sentence:
Education ministry officials said the current job recruitment process in Japan is apparently discouraging Japanese students from studying abroad.
Definition:
passing in time; belonging to the time actually passing: the current month
Synonyms:
present
2)is apparently discouraging ~ from ~
Sentence:
same as above
Definition:
~が~する気を削いでいるようだ
c. Comments about the news.
I heard that some acquaintances and some friends consider to go to abroad for studying, and they think studying abroad will good for them to go on to college and job hunting.
But it may be fact that Japanese students are busy for job hunting and they can't go to abroad.
I wanted to go abroad when I entered to KGU, but I changed my mind. Because I couldn't earn enough money for study abroad for one year. It came from my strength, but it showed me that I didn't want to go to abroad from my heart then.
Some teachers and friends advise me to go to abroad. I'm very grad to hear that, but I also feel I'm able to be studying many things here because I'm here. I think I should watch many things more and more here now, and next, I want to see another world. I fear that I will stop thinking from imprinting and I will be not able to know my misunderstanding, too.
So, when I will be able to plan specific about studying abroad, I will go to new world.
